We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bid Manager to join a well established and highly regarded Civil Engineering contractor with a turnover in excess of £30 million.  Our client, with operations in both the South West and South Wales, is recruiting for a Bid Manager who also has a flair for business development, to join their company on a permanent basis.  As Bid Manager you will manage the pre-construction team, producing high quality tender submissions in order to secure future work across the region.
As Bid Manager you will:
  • Be responsible for writing and coordinating bid submissions with accurate and up to date information and deliver proposals to required deadlines.
  • Manage tender documentation.
  • Complete PQQ’s.
  • Track bid/tender releases and source business opportunities via specific websites.
  • Assist in the bid structure, using market intelligence and best practise to create winning bids.
  • Identify business leads, pro-actively approaching market sectors for framework opportunities.
Our client requires a Bid Manager with:
  • HND/Degree qualified (ideally).
  • Experience of working within the Civil Engineering sector in a similar role.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • £50,000 - £75,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Company vehicle, car allowance
  • Holiday entitlement, pension scheme etc.
