Abatec is assisting a highly regarded Groundworks subcontractor with the recruitment of a permanent Project Manager. The Project Manager will be responsible for a £25million groundworks package on a new residential development near Amesbury. Ideally the successful applicant will have a site engineering background and must have experience of working for Groundworks subcontractors involved with volume new housing developments.
As Project Manager you will:
  • Report into a visiting Contracts Manager, giving updates on programme, budgetary and design issues etc.
  • Ensure that industry health & safety legislation and standards are upheld.
  • Liaise regularly with the client on any concerns at regular project meetings.
Our client requires a Project Manager with:
  • Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificates.
  • A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Thorough understanding of setting out on volume housing developments using robotic total stations.
Salary and benefits include:
  • £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
  • Company vehicle or car allowance
